Feel like an idiot- Low fuel light has been on and I have 5 gallons in my garage so should have been easily prevented! On my way to work, the bike just turned off after sputtering for 1/4 mile and I had to stop at a stoplight, I parked it on a hill for about 5 min and texted a buddie. Tried the starter just for kicks and must have had the bike at an angle that got bit of gas left in the lines- I managed to rush on it and get it up to about 35 mph before it died again, but had enough to coast to a gas station!

I just replaced the CCT's this weekend so that was the first thing that went though my head when it died, although in retrospect it was clearly as simple as running out of gas ( the instructions on this site made for flawless installation, took me a whole day!). Crazy how I can remember lyrics to songs I haven't heard since I was 5, but can't manage to keep gas in a vehicle!

 

My dad always told my that you always learn your biggest lesson from your biggest mistake. Glad it wan't a major failure.
