With the stock jetting, air filter, fairing and sprocket sizes?

 

I am not sure about the jetting. I have not looked at it to see if it is stock or not. The gearing and filter are stock though as are the pipes. I have a lot of maintenance records for it and there is nothing about any mods. As far as I know it is box stock other than a PAIR delete.

I need to behave myself to get 44 and above. If I ride the way I want I get upper 30's maybe 40 if I am lucky on the highway.

My '01 has 40K on it, stock jets, etc., and still is getting 43mpg consistently. I ride it easy most of the time, but occasionally stretch it out so it doesn't get too used to an old guy riding it. Yeah, it's the red one right there on the left.

 

The 14+ coats of "paint" (including OE application) would make a great base for a new color. Now 3 other forum members are interested too.
