i was thinking about getting one with the rear sensor riping it out of its case mounting it under the seat useing the rear sensor for the front and the front sensor for the rear and just running leds up front to see when i get a hit still working out the details ill post back when i find one that will work

 

I have never, NEVER talked my way out of a speeding ticket when I had a radar detector mounted. Without I do about .500.

From what I've read in Car and Driver and other sources, with todays radar by the time the detector goes off they've got you anyway.
Here in Orange County airplanes are the main enforcement weapon on Ortega Highway, the favorite canyon ride.

 

if you can get one small enough or with remote sensers you can mount it in one of the air scoops near the headlight.

the police will have you clocked by the time the radar detecter goes off. most police radars are triggered manualy and arent on all the time so the detecter jeut lets you know your cought. i have friends and family that are cops in different departments in SoCal and none of them use there radars to catch speeders.

i would save the money and use it for more uesfull parts than a radar detecter. just my $.02
