Questions about compression #s

In California we are only able to get 91 octane fuel is this going to be a problem if I choose to run the JE pistons and Mori stage 1 cams?

No, because you can buy a can of higher octane(race fuel) and mix it with your pump gas like motocrossers. We do it all the time. Some guys I know have 13:1 + comp. ratios.

Thanks motojoe I didn't want to have to pull out octane booster everytime I filled up.

I have Moriwaki HC pistons and stage 1 cams and full exhaust and rejetted. Not uncommonly the highest octane I can get is 91 - runs fine, I don't hear any detonation, plugs look fine.
