Question?

What kind of pipes do you suggest? Is it better to loose the stock pipes? Any info would be great. Thanks Tim

Bafflectomized stock. Otherwise Vance & Hines or Sato. I've got the de-baffled stockers and haven't heard anything that sounds enough better to justify the cash outlay... Just my $.02

Re: Question?

I think you'd have to qualify it first by saying what you want out of it, as far as changing the pipes go. Do you want to lose weight? Louder? Looks? That's like asking what the best movie is. For me, I like loud and made in the USA. My bike has Two Bros. on it. I got the high mounts because I like that look. But that's just what I like. The next guy might think my bike is too loud. The next guy after that might not care where his pipes are made as long as they give him the most power gains. Basically, no matter who you ask, you're going to get different opinions. I come back to: what are you looking for? Then we can start steering you in the right direction.

Re: Question?

My pic shows what the high mounted Two Brothers C/F full system looks like..... To me they don't seem to be that much louder than others, and they give lots of ground clearance, according to the dyno charts from company a few more ponies, and save over 10 pounds over stock. Possible down side perhaps for others is that they eliminate the passenger pegs...

I have 2Bro low mount carbon cans. They are a little loud, but nothing beats the mellow tone.

Another vote for the 2Bros. love the sound and as long as your not thrashing the bike not overly loud. IMO

It wasn't just about sound for me, I wanted more performance. Besides I also wanted to lose about 20 pounds and I suck at dieting.
