Please HELP!! Overheated Now Won't Start....
New Member, I have a 98 Vtr1000F That is relatively in almost perfect condition and I haven't had any issues with it up until this last weekend. I was riding back from the beach during rush hour. When I pulled off the highway into city streets I got caught sitting in Gridlocked traffic and nailed by every red light on EVERY street. Before I could notice it, the bike had spit some coolant onto the floor out of the overflow it didn't shut off but when I had the chance I pulled over and let it cool for a bit. when I tried to fire it back up after letting it sit and refilling the coolant at a gas station. It wouldn't start... Just made a single clunk sound when I pressed the Start button.... I have no idea what would make that sound and I checked the battery and even hooked it up to a moto jumper that I carry in my pack so I know it's getting power. Any help to get me back on the road would be extremely helpful and appreciate. Thanks in advance !! :: Sighs :: " My Poor Beastly SuperHawk"
