The little square 500ml Fiji water bottles fit perfectly under the seat in the rectangular slot. Doesn't hurt to have some just in case.

I've put other water bottles under there and they usually get caught on the seat bottom making it almost impossible to remove.

I guess you could fill it with just about anything really. Extra gas, oil, etc.
