Paint

Does anyone know where to get the closest matching red paint in a spray can. I am looking for 2001 Red. I just want to touch up the rough spots for now. Also where to get it.

Thanks, Joe

color-rite.com is an exact match

There are no "close" matches for R157. I and many others before me have searched.

You could probably take your bike to a professional paint shop and perhaps they could mix a small amount of paint for you that will be closer than any rattle can.

Pretty expensive spray paint but it is cheaper then a shop for now. Thanks for the help.

If you consider how many cans of winning red, victory red, blazing red, italian red (yes, I found one called that at a hobby shop) plus more that I've bought over the years hoping for a perfect match, you're way ahead of the game just buying the color-rite r157.

BTW: Most of them had too much orange but are a pretty decent match for honda's other red called winning red r258.

Yeah, I can feel the savings now after you put it that way.
