So I'm planning this trip in a few weeks - going to take the Hawk from Victoria B.C., Canada to Santa Barbara California. I've ridden east-west in Canada before and I've been around B.C.. Last summer went as far South as Portland. I'm planning to take the coastal route, and do it probably in 3 days? - take my time and enjoy the scenery. Any suggestions on route or anything??? Figured I would ask and see what you all had to suggest, being that you know the bike and all!! (anyone want to put me up along the way? save some $$$ for the ever rising price of gas?) Anyone else going in that direction at any point? Meet up for part of the way? Whaddya think?
