no riding to church today
tinker in the garage
Well I decided to attack my brake mod today....because the weather won't let me do anything else. So I went ahead and ground the F4i calipers to fit and touched up the bare metal on the caliper too. waiting for the paint to dry and then off to the 954 mastercylinder swap and bleed. These kind of days (with this weather) drive me insane.....Can't ride....Can't keep warm....Can't get much done at all! But the brite side is there's a shiny blue Hawk in the garage to look at!
Oh and no thanks on the trade, I already told my wife I won't move anywhere north of the halfway point of N.C.!!! Just ain't gonna happen!!! 19 years in Conn. was enough of that crap for me.
No way dude! When I got new orders(Mayport, Jacksonville, FL) out of San Dog in 2001, the housing market was unreal to say the least! I could afford to have a nice home built for under $170K in Florida, can't do that in San Dog. Now I hear its even worse! What do people do to afford the homes there? I like mine at $800 a month here in OKC, not $4000 a month.

Sandy Eggo was hit the hardest with housing price-drop.
Watching those "Home TV" shows where they show you how much goes where makes me almost want to move to Tennessee...
It's cooled down a lot since last year. We were able to score a good deal on our home, although the mortgage still comes out to $2k/month.

I know, I had mine built in 2002 on the north side of Jax for $167,500 for a 2200sqft 4 bed 2 bath 3 car and it sold for $230 a year and a half later. I can't afford that anymore. Now it's worth less. Bummer for that dude.
Oh Canada

Sounds nice Dave but when you consider 50* F cold then umm no, thanks but NO!! We had 3 hurricanes in a span of 13 months so it really slowed the market, but none this year so hopefully it'll pick up again soon. Oh and I live in the boonies of S. FLA. so 1 and 3/4 acres and lots of stars and wild life here too, just flat straight roads though.
Last weekend: nice and warm weekend spent at Deal's Gap.
This weekend: mid 70s and rode around home a little.
Strange to see folks out in the middle of January riding their motorcycle in jeans and a t-shirt.
I wore my normal gear

You have to excuse us Americans, Dogman! We think that if you go west of LA or east of Boston harbor, you fall off the edge of the earth. We forget the rest of the world is out there. Having your location in your profile in the upper right of your posts, of course, helps remedy this oversight. You're having summer there while we are having winter. In south Texas 37C and 40C is nothing new in the summer. Right now (it's 1100 hours) it's -5C and the wind is clocking about 18 kph. We've had rain all night. I live a metropolitan area of about 3 million people and you know what? It's stopped!
