I'm glad to've found this forum. Been casually looking for a while for some fellow VTR1000 owners out there. I'm having a slight problem uploading my avatar, is there an FAQ? Its a JPEG less than 100X100, and only 3 Kb. BTW, I've owned SEVERAL bikes, and I must say, my Superhawk is the only one I've sold and then HAD to buy back from the guy I sold it to. Excluding about a year or so, I've had my '98 since May 2000; best bike I've ever owned!

Incidentally, it must've been fate that I sold my bike at that time. The new owner was a buddy of mine who called me pissed off the week after I sold it. Seems a CCT went out hours after I sold it to him. There was absolutely no warning, but I've had the bike now for 6 years since and have relatively few problems.

 

Welcome aboard. There is a faq HERE, but it doesn't mention sizes. As you can see, I haven't bothered to post one myself.
