New From St. Louis MO

Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the SuperHawk but I've been riding for about 5 years. So I guess I'm still a newbie. My first bike was a 94 Ninja 500, next was my 1993 FZR 600, and now I'm looking forward to my first ride on the 1999 SuperHawk. I bought it wrecked up (pretty bad in fact) and am hoping with a little luck I may actually see some of you guys on the road by Spring. I've been lurking around her for a couple weeks and I can't believe how helpful and knowlegeable you guys are when it comes to these bikes. Shout out to AC Cobra too for helping me with some parts already! Anyway, as soon as I find out how to post some pics I'll get some up here. I've got my work cut out for me with this bike, comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Hey, I'm new to the Shawk too, but I've been riding for about 37 years . I'm sure you will think it's worth fixing your bike, once you get to ride it.

Welcome from your Kansas City brother! Maybe when you get up to speed we can meet for a group ride around Columbia. I've got a friend in the Lou that rides a CBR and a friend in Columbia with a YZF.

I have an '03, pictured below:

Nice to see someone else from StL on here. To bad I am moving in less than a month to Phoenix. St Louis is a great place to ride when the weather cooperates. If you are bored some time I would reccomend routing a ride South on HWY94 from HWY40 to augusta and possibly Washington. There are a lot of twisties and bars/Winerys along that route. If you are interested in joining a club the MCRA is one of the larger sport bike clubs in the area. I hang out with all types of riders from stunters to cruisers.
