I decided this year it was time to upgrade. I wasn't sure what i really wanted but i found a 98 superhawk with 10000 miles that was only about 10 minutes from my home. As soon as i took it for a test drive i was hooked. Turns out the owner was a member here. I only have about 50 miles on it so far but i think i am really going to like it. I was riding an 02 Kawasaki Concours previously so this is a bit of change in style of bikes. I can't wait to get some more time on and get more used to riding a v twin. Some pics are attached. (I found out after i joined here that the previous owner did offer this for sale in the classifieds)
The following mods were done by the previous owners
D&D full exhaust
stage 1 jets
mirror extenders
carbon fiber hugger
Stainless brake lines
APE tensioners
p.s. i did post a reply to the previous owners classified ad but thought i should post here also.

hello- I am relatively new here too, welcome, this is a great place. I love the bike, especially the color and those pipes. Hard to tell from the photos, but those calipers look like they have been upgraded too - anyone?

Thanks everyone.
It is amazing to me how much different a v-twin is a than an I4. In a very good way but it will take some getting used to.
Here is a close up pic of the caliper. I dont know if they are stock or not.
