New to Forum. Couple of questions.

Hi! This is my first post! I picked up an '02 Super Hawk last night. I've got several bikes and I've always liked these so I'm going to give her a shot. Got it home and within and hour, pulled the baffles out. Very impressed with the sound. I'm going to pull the pair valve system off next. I'm going to pull one of the reed valve covers off and get the dimensions off of it and have some plate water jetted out. I've done some searching and found some old posts but thought I'd ask anyway. I want to do a handlebar mod to raise my position up a bit. I'm looking at the superbike handlebars and some risers. I'd prefer to piece my own kit together but any links to the bars that anyone has used and thoughts would be great. I'm figuring on getting some kind of dirt bike risers off ebay. Any info/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Here's some pics of the Super Hawk and a handfull of my other bikes. There's more behind me. I guess I'm addicted!

Thanks! Mine has just under 10,000. I just came in from polishing it up and shining those pipes up real nice! It's raining here. I wanted to go for a little cruise.

I spotted a dirt bike, a 1972+/- Honda CB350CL, a 1980 +/- Honda 750F, a X-year Honda CBX, something else under a cover, a couple of cruisers, and of course the VTR...

You had to put the Harley under a cover so the other bikes would stop making fun of it?

I'm not familiar with circa but it's a '85 XR 250R. Twin carbs. Pretty sure only made that way in '84-'85

Thank you! The garage keeps filling up! The Super Hawk is actually part of my master plan to keep it and ride and start eliminating some of my other bikes.
