Navy Seal Museum Ride
Navy Seal Museum Ride
Looks like a dry weekend in South Florida so we are planning a ride to the Navy Seal Museum in Vero Beach in the morning. (Leaving from Jupiter). I have been wanting to go see it for a while so I'm pretty excited about it. The ride consists of three Ducks and a Hawk. Lots of birds flying.
If I may... That bike is on bikepics.com as 2006 VTR1000, although it is not, since we know VTR production ceased after 2005, and it appears to have a similar but different engine. Or at least different engine bits, like the left side cover.
Raining here in SoCal today, so I'm a little heavy on the posts.
Enjoy the Navy Seal Museum. When I was on active duty in the late '60s, I was stationed just a few miles south of where the Seals trained on the Coronado Strand.

Thanks VTR Surfer. I found it just looking around and it showed up. Thought it was a great look for a Superhawk. We picked up another rider, a GIXer boy racer friend of my son's. Kind of rounds out the lot. He's the best rider of the lot. My older son's father in law is a retired Navy Captain helo pilot. Should be interesting. He says he has dropped Seals in very strange locations. Still can't talk about where.
I understand the can't talk about it part. I was in NSG. Not nearly as exciting or dangerous as being a helo pilot dropping off Navy Seals, but still couldn't talk about what we were doing.
