Yes I have. The bottom projector is stock GSXR and meant for this housing. It still gets hot, but not hot enough to melt the plastic.

The top projector is HID and runs alot cooler temperature wise.

DSM's are ****. Ok not all of them, but that one is. damn shitty 420a motor. Piece of junk. That car has waisted thousands of hours of my time.

It goes through cam position sensors and crank position sensors every other week and leaves me stranded. I blew the head gasket, and now its full of water.

But I would LOVE to have a GSX. Damn I want one.

Nope. I drilled and tapped the block and made a mount for it there. Also cut and re welded the lines. Damn those lines are thin as hell.

You have nice lines from the tank to the rear, but I agree with the rear being too high. Might have been page 13 of this thread I said that. You might consider raising the front of the tank once you lower the back to maintain the lines. Probably only needs to go about a half inch. The up-side is you'll have more space for either electronics or fuel.

Doesn't Stay Moving. I had a DSM for a while, never again. Could't ever find a leash for the crank that took a walk on me.

Well I dont want to raise the front of the tank, But.....

If you look close in the pics you can see the foam tail is notched to fit on the subframe. For some reason I didnt do it in the pictures.

I dropped the tail down about 3/4 inch, over the round tubing, and it looks much better. I have a crummy pic of it, Ill upload it in a sec.

Love it. Lower the *** end some, and throw on a hugger. Would help out a ton functionality wise, and I think would make it look a bit better, but that's just my opinion. The bike as a whole looks rediculous, and I love it!

It's like a cartoon or a Coop illustration, all attitude and motor and tires. Calvin would ride this even if Watterson wouldn't draw it.

Truck,

I haven't looked at this thread in a few months. I have spent the entire morning catching up with it. I am in love w/this thread. Your bike is fantastic! Everyone has suggestions on how to do it, but do it as you want it....Like you said, you only care if it fits you. That being said, heres what you need to do...Start by...just kidding....Love it and keep up the great work....most of us here wish we had you skills. By the way, I loved the picture with you on the bike and you could see a table full of your CCT's in front....I may have to pick-up a set from you.

Only thing I would do is make the tail piece into a mini trunk for storing things.. I can't imagine not having the space the SH provides under the seat.. It's amazing how useful that is.

And my bad on the oil cooler, for some reason I thought it was down there.. duh, I shoulda looked first.

Ive lowered it to where I want it now, Only 3/4 inch lower. No hugger for me, I like to see my tire. I dont care if my back gets wet I always wear a leather jacket and full gear.

Really appreciate it. I like when people tell me what to do cause I can see how their taste differs with mine. But that doesnt mean Im going to listen to them.

Ya I want a little storage. Probably wont have room, but Ill try. I always carry a back pack for that very reason though.

And ya it kinda looks Like a stock location for the cooler.
