So I am wondering, since each of these guys was dominant in their prime, who was really fastest? I havent dug much but am curious as to their lap times at same tracks.

I also read how the motogp bikes went from 800-1000cc, and gained 40 hp, but barely went faster. Lap records were only broken at 8 out of 17 circuits, and only by like 2 or 3 tenths. The biggest diff was pedrosa at indy by 8 tenths.

With all the gizmos they just cant go much faster even with 40 extra hp.
