Massive oil leak

Question concerning my bike from my accident back on the 21st of August when a Minivan ran into me. I'm not able to look deeply into the bike, let alone work on it because it's still under "investigation" and my attorney advised me not to do anything with it, so I'm just getting some possibles from you guys.

From what I can tell it's all coming from the sprocket area, possibly the shift shaft. It's left a huge oil stain below the bike. From what I looked over, there's no visible cracks, but I can't dive into it without causing an uproar of bs. The bike ended up on it's left side, broke off the foot peg and the shifter, which is why I'm suspecting it could possibly be the shift shaft being bent and cracking the case. I would need a new case if this were the cause, correct?

Not clutch fluid, def engine oil. There's no scrapes or visible damage to the slave itself. I had just replaced all of the seals behind there previous to this happening within a months time.

Sounds like a bent shift shaft to me. Seal is allowing oil past the shaft because it is bent to one side or the other. If this is the issue a new shift shaft will need to be installed with a new seal.
