As long as there are RC51s to be stretched, I don't think we'll have to worry about dumbasses stretching too many SHs.

Why stretch an RC for Christ's sake? What bullshit. If I was going to stretch anything it would be a stripped and stretched ST1300. Somebody pulled this ********'s ball sack over his head and told him he had an ear-ache.

i'm not crying, I'm laughing !

One, at the guy who thinks a four year old RC51 is worth $12k 'cause it has a long swing arm.

Two, at guys who think it's a sin for a guy to buy a bike and do whatever he wants with it.

If you're really that upset about it, give the man his $12k, spend another $500 or $1000 to restore it. Then you'll have a "pure" RC51. Worth about 4 or 5 grand less than you put into it. Who gives a ****?

Nicely done...if you like that kinda thing.

If I were to stretch a bike, (never) it wouldn't be an RC-51

I flagged the piece of **** douche bag because of his use of Keywords. If he would put more effort into the description of his bike than his use of Keywords I would have let it slip.

Douche bag

That bike could be put back in original shape with a few hundred for a stock swing arm and chain. What's the big friggin' deal?

There are guys on this forum who have chopped the **** out of their VTRs to make a "street fighter", are praised to High Heaven for their engineering skill and originality, fine by me, it's THEIR BIKE!

But if a guy puts a over sized swing arm on his bike, he's committed a Mortal Sin? Yes, that makes me laugh!

For me it's not a "big deal"... If you do a stretch for dragracing, like littlesquirt (If my memory serves?) then it's fine by me... Do it to a Superhawk or an RC51 or a Ducati Desmodesici for all I care... (That should BTW make one kick *** dragbike!)

But doing it for looks only... Well then you prove your about as stupid as you can possibly be... And then I reserve my right to ridicule...

Sure Tweety. I might have a bit more respect for a guy who stretched his RC51 so he could have something unique for embarrassing Ferraris, Lamborginis and Turbo Carreras off the line than a guy who did it simply for the "look".

I might have a bit more respect for guys who spent $2k on VTR performance mods than guys who spent it on paint, decals, turn signals and a fender eliminator kit. But I really don't care one whit. It your bike, your business.

If somebody's happy with their bike, that's totally cool with me. That's all I'm saying.

I would never spend a penny for one of those glue on "mohawk" helmet accessories, but i always smile when i see one. I just think life is too short too get excited about judging another man's bike.

When I see one of those glue on Mohawks I think "Alright, cop magnet, now I can fly under the radar".

And RK, you need to stop being so touchy feely and speak your mind.

And by the way, I really did see a stretch Mini Cooper about 6 months ago.

I have the same reaction to Mohawk Dude. He's probably on a Gixxer getting ready to do a passenger peg, 90mph stand up wheelie on the freeway. As far as the cops are concerned, I might as well be wearing a bow tie, driving a beige Camry with a "Support your local Police" bumper sticker.

Maybe I'll consider trying to be less touchy-feelie and more direct- after the four shots of Jim Beam wear off!

I enjoy speaking my mind, being a little contrarian. It's all in fun for me. I don't believe I've ever actually gotten pissed at anyone here, except the Communists, of course.

PS I saw a four door, longer Mini Cooper in Glendora last week. I think it's a factory option now.

No, the one my wife and I saw was like at least 4 or 5 times the normal length of a Mini Cooper, it was a true stretch limo.

About 20 years ago I saw a stretch Honda Accord limo. And I said, "Why?".

And of course there were the photos of the super-stretch F350 limo that were going around the internet several years ago.

That model of the Mini is called the Clubman.

Which I now see is named at the bottom of the photo.

why would that make u want to cry?

u know what would make me cry? seeing that bike folded in half....

he did a clean job, maybe not your cup of tea, or mine, but its not like he did irreversible damage to the bike...

and thats a 300 tire in the back....that conversion costs big $$$....that he flushed down the drain...
