At the beginning of the year, Honda still had the 05 model Superhawk listed on their site. He might be referring to the fact that the information is no longer there on the site as it had been.

Based on the number of start-ups and no-names that got into the V-twin market after the Superhawk was scrapped is a good measure of how strong the market is for this design.

Everybody has handed it to Ducati and maybe rightly so.

I don't think so.

Even Honda cannot ignore or be above the ergo-bashing that has gone on in every sector about the RC51. I think Honda, in their short-sight decided everybody that owned a Superhawk would love the RC51. Didn't work. I think the entire V program is going to be revamped. The Interceptor goes into the books this year so they better come up with something quick or we'll all be boning dinosaurs.

Not sure about that but I think it will be mono shock in front and sss in back. They will address the gas-mileage issue but only graze the surface. Cam chains will be abandoned. The V4 will be turbocharged. Expect exotic metals and a big price tag. Would you pay $20k for the new Superhawk or Interceptor. Mark my words - you may have the chance.

If this is the case, then Honda missed the mark (again).
