Let me introduce myself

Hello everyone. I'm new to your board and to the superhawk, just picked it up today. Put about 190 miles on it today and I love it, good power good handling and descent comfort. Did'nt run it too hard as I am still at the break-in stage. A dealer in Springfield MO has a smoking hot deal on these and I could'nt say no.
I've looked through some of the how-to threads and have picked up quite a bit of info already. Hope that I will be able to contribute some soon.

Welcome to the forum. Now start hacking that beautiful new hawk up. My first mod was chopping the rear fender with an exacto. But be careful modding is addictive and can get $$$. I forgot what they look like out of the showroom, very nice. I'm sure you'll be happy for many years, I sure have been.

Yes the mod will soon start. The removal of the reflectors and rear fender surgery will happen within a few days. A set of Jardine high mounts are on the way and should be here by the end of the week. I will have to see what I can do about the turn signals. I put a set of Shock Racing LED signals on my R1 and they look very good. Small but still very bright.

I'll get it personalized before long.

That's a pretty superhawk! I've never seen a blue one in person.
