LED advise

Im wanting to go all LED turn signals, but not sure what to get. Do i have to get one resistor for each turn signal or can i buy one relay for all the turn signals?

will the relay from LP work? and if so, how many do i need?

any advise would be greatly appreciated

Replace the flasher is the easiest way, or leave them and have the faster blink rate, which in my opinion calls more attention to you and makes you more visible.

I swapped out all my signals with LED units and did not put any resistors in or mess with the relay. It just blinks faster wich is not that bad IMHO. Try it first and then if you think you want it to be slower add a resistor later to the lft and right circuits. You will only need 2 resistors and they can be wired in parallel to the LED lights.

I put on Proton flushmounts that are programmable. On the tail, I've got LED brake like and LED flashers in the undertail. They don't have resistors on them but I replaced the relay from one at CG that made them blink at the normal rate. The relay was only about 20 bucks.

Proton is the company. They retail for $99. If you have a local bike shop that uses Tucker Rocky they can order you a set. If not, there a few websites that carry them such as PowerSportsStore and IndySuperbikes.

I have all LED's and am running a Custom LED flasher relay. Plug and play application. Works great but if you have one go out it will not change flash rate but what are the odds of a LED turn signal going out. They sell them on eBay or off their site.

Less likely than the relay failing...

resistor for turn signals

Hello,
Does anyone have a pic and/or description of the specs and how they wired it up to slow the rate of the signals flashing? It is odd, only my right side (front and back) flash quickly. The left is normal.
Thank you.
