It's MTV they will take something that could be cool and **** it up by filling it full of advertising and pop cuture cliche nonsense....but i hope not.

MTV occasionally does good work with their docu-drama stuff. A lot of their main-stream material is oversensationalized, but if you look at their target demographic it makes sense.

I'm gonna buy a big bucket of KFC to watch the KK show.

I thought it was an enjoyable show, but I didn't like the English announcers "new" voice, he sounded like Robin Leach... They must have made him slow down his cadence which sucks, because part of the fun of the races (at least for me) is listening to his excited commentary. Mtv probably figured theres millions in this country who "can't understand British accents". I am surprised they used him, actually.

I would have preferred the original sound clips from the actual races... JMHO.

that was my only complaint too. having him read script in an animated way to make it sound like it was live announcing of the events as they happened was really cheezy. I suppose if you had never watched any racing, but it was weird. I'm not even sure who's voice it was - didn't sound like the usual MotoGP announcers. But either use the real audio clips or simply narrate what was happening. Nice to see so much personal interviews with hayden though - really a hardworking good guy.

I just DVR it, wait about 30 to 45 minutes after it starts and then start watching it. I just super FF thru the commercials.

Really no big deal.

The show was excellent. Tires sure killed Team Honda this year.

Yeah, I felt bad for the Kid all season long, but on the show after the third round and he's like "9 out of the top ten were on Bridgestones? We could be in for an entire season of this" I REALLY felt bad for him.

But like his old man said, maybe this season get all the bad luck out and come back next year with all good luck...

Wasn't too bad. Something decent on MTV for a change.

I started watching with absolutely zero expectation of lasting through the first hour. After two hours I was thinking, "damn, that was actually pretty good."

Yeah... of course anything can be nit-picked by the natterers, but I thought it was a pretty polished production overall.

I thought Nicky came across very well on the screen. He may have a twang in his voice, but he's a pretty sharp guy.

Loved it when he & Tommy were in the foo-foo restaurant (French?) somewhere in Europe (?). Tommy says the fish Nicky's having was "seared". Nicky says something like, "Seared... where did you learn about seared?"
