I am having dirty thoughts

I borrowed my buddies RC51 yesterday to take it to the dyno day, cause he was at work, and wow, I am impressed.
I never really liked them the last two times I rode one(short rides, traffic and ride day slowness issues), but yesterday, I got to ride it for about an hour at my own pace, and I like it.
I thought it would be a rack, but it is better than the superhawk. It has more legroom, and the bars are so much closer. I don't find the VTR uncomfortable, but I don't find the RC bad either. Plus, the better chassis, and 20 extra HP don't hurt either.

You dirty little man!! I have a chance to get a track RC for $3000 but I'm strapped for cash right now. I just might have to sell my '69 Cougar.

Cougar? With which motor? I had a '68 XR7 with a 302. I've always wanted to find a '69 428. For less than 50 large.

Don't sell the Cougar.

The year was 1971....family loaded in the '68 XR7 towing a fully loaded '68 VW bug for our big move from Missouri to Arizona. Oh the memories. Hi-jack off.

I had a '67 and 68 xr7,(68 had the 302 HO motor), in Connecticut and then a '69 xr7 down here for a while. This one's just a regular cougar but it has a 4 barrel 351 windsor with AC. Needs some work although everthing is still there. My wife wants me to make it into a drag car for the family.

My brother's got a 70 XR7 - 351 Cleveland 4V (stroked to 380), AOD 4 speed auto. I love the 67-70's in all variants.
Not many cougars in Aus. Mustangs on the other hand...

Not many Cougars ANYwhere. I saw only a couple in Colorado when I owned mine and maybe one or two here around NYC. But even in the classic-car-depraved tri-state area there are more Mustangs than anything.

Cool

RC51, that's not dirty thoughts..

This is dirty thoughts:

Nothing like a 100hp dirtbike that weighs less than 200kg.
