How to remove and replace Gear Shifter Lever?
Hey guys, dropped the hawk this week and bent the shift peg. Ordering a new one for $100 and then replacing it. But I've never done this myself. Anyone know how to replace this? I saw one bolt connected to the rear set but I'm not sure if its riveted or now onto the shifter
Any one have a DIY on how to remove and replace this?

This should help - undo *12 - drop the lever and unwind off or undo *10 - then transplant the rod over onto the new shift lever and reassemble. Grease and install the gearshift arm onto the spindle, aligning the slit of the arm with the punch mark on the spindle. Tighten the bolts securely.
