how do you pass the time?
well as you can see its my first post, picked up my 01 996 yesterday and ordered up a set of Devil high pipes.......the suspense is killing me because they wont be on my door step until monday.......what do you do?

You may want to re-jet the carbs I think.

The Hell w/ all that **** - just get on the friggin' bike and ride it!!! The pipes will come soon enough, and when they do - you'll really be grinning then. Oh yeah, welcome to the forum and get the jet kit coming....p.s. - if those girls aren't related to you, then what the hell are you doing asking us what to do to pass the time????

I understand about waiting for parts. It's seems to last much longer than girlfriends.
I'd be a liar but I look forward to the UPS driver more than the __ssy. I don't have to drive twenty miles and beg for it unlike my not-so-nearby Honda dealer who demands a king's ransom for a screw.

got the pipes installed this am, after some awesome help from this site. couldnt figure out my muffler clamp brackets, so i searched for devil high pipes and found some pics...also did a 400 mile ride this weekend with my buddy and his Z1000. totally put a hurt'in on him in the twisties!! damn i love this bike
