Hi gang!

Hi gang! I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for awhile now. You guys/gals seem like a nice bunch so I'm sticking my neck out here.

A little bit about me? I've been riding for two years now and I just can't get enough of it. My first bike was a FZ6 ( never again will I buy a brand new bike; did Yamaha fix that TPS yet? ), second a RC Five-One ( stolen about a month ago; damn bastids!!! ) , and now a VTR996 ( nice ). I miss the Five-One dearly, but it's younger brother is doing fine as a replacement. Hopefully, I'll keep the VTR longer than 2 years.

I'm not new to forums so I know some of the underlying rules of engagement.

Now, I want to know a little bit about you guys/gals.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard!

<-- been riding for three years now. First owned an '88 Yamaha FZ600 back in 1999, then only rode intermittently. Bought a '95 Honda CBR-F3 two years ago, then the SuperHawk last November. The GSXR was purchased in May.

Where are you from?

Cool. I'm originally from L.A., born 'n raised, but my duties in the Air Force allocated me to the fine state of Oklahoma. I miss the mountains, the seashore, and the year round fair weather, but it's not too bad here. What kind of GSXR did you get?

I bet you don't miss the smog, the traffic, and the smog.

I purchased a '99 750, but I'm trying to sell it now because of other projects (of the four-wheeled variety). Unfortunately, it's track-only, so my range of potential buyers is very limited, more so because it's two generations out.

Re: Hi gang!

Man I'd love to try out an RC51. I dunno if I could live with one though.
