Hey, want to make your hawk faster ??

One way to increase average speed of the hawk is not to get stuck on traffic lights
here's how

I have one of those and it does seem to help with the lights but at least in my area it doesn't trigger all of them.

Yeah I thought of attaching it close to the lower end of the kickstand so you just have to drop the kickstand to trigger the tough ones.

Don't worry about being surrounded by cars, since you probably wouldn't be stuck at the light anyway

If you happen to have an old computer harddrive laying around, they have two really strong magnets in them. I was showing a pair to a friend of mine. They clamped together on her finger and drew blood.

get the magnets that pull 880 pounds of force

http://cgi.ebay.com/1-Neodymium-Magn...QQcmdZViewItem

"***WARNING***
This is an EXTREMELY Powerful and VERY DANGEROUS Magnet!
The end user MUST USE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS when unpacking and using this magnet.
Remove all metal objects within a 5 foot radius before unpacking. Magnets of this size and strength can pull metal objects to them when brought too close.
Two magnets of this size can fly together with great force and can break bones. Wear safety glasses. Use heavy gloves."

Man, how do you ship something like that? It'd attract all kinds of other packages and stick to the floor of the mail truck! That'd be funny as **** to watch the mail clerks deal with that! Like a Candid Camera kinda thing.

I never do that.....EVER. I'd rather have have the piece of mind knowing my bike is in gear just in case I have to avoid someone who "doesn't see" me.
