Hello From the valley of the sun
hey there. I've been riding for longer than I can remember. I have owned a lot of different bikes, CBR 900rr,VFR700f2,SV650,Bandit600, some dualsports and a few stuntas. I just got my hands on a '98 superhawk and now i'm completely hooked... These bikes are heavy dope and I am really enjoying the effortless wheelies, nimble handling and chasing ducatis all over the place! They have no Idea what just passed them untill the next gas station. Any way I'm glad I found this place.

Shhhh, not so loud, keep it quiet, if too many find out about this little thing we have going here then the secret fun dwindles. I hope there is a get together. Can you imagine the sound of several superhawks tearing through the salt river canyon?!? Lynch I am always down for a ride, but I gotta do some work on my bird before I get real serious riding done. Once I get some tune up stuff done, and some new driveline kit installed we will definately shred.
Oh yeah, all the stickers are coming off too.

Yeah i just had new bearings put in the rear, new chain, new cush drive rubber, new tires and new counter shaft oil seal... i pick up the oil seal today and chain will go on tomorrow..everything else is done.. i cant wait.. i havent ridden in weeks...tires were pricey.. i put Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires on it...

Those are sweet tires and you will really enjoy them... I'm too broke to gather the parts I need right now so i'm keeping it on the suface streets untill I get rich. I really need a chain and sprockets.

yeah I'm selling my last bicycle today over craigslist. Thats 5 hundo right there, I should be able to get at least my sprockets and chain. Maybe somore engine Ice and oil.

i left all my ride buddies in the dirt..ive been riding dirt for 20 years..no more..what kind of bike are you selling , road or mountain? I have bolth, i havent ridden in months because of the heat..just been gymin' it with the wife..were are you in the valley..? theres quite a few Valley hawk riders, i still havent been able to hook up with any riders, ive seen only 2 SH's in the valley in about 6 years ive been here..bolth red...im at 75th and deer valley..i keep seeing this guy on the 101... the tail of his hawk is barely hanging on the bike, wheelie gone bad.. i think it even has duct tape.. poor thing.. gsxr's, ninjas, yamadogs are a dime a dozen.. let me know when your ready , well have to go for a cruise.. ive been getting my work done at the helmet center at 35 and union hills.. all the guys there are great.. David has been doing most of my work there.. its really one on one with david. he lets you know everything that going on and what he is doing. Its not like dealing with town and country or metro motosports.. i cant stand those places. i called metro for tires and they told me they couldnt get them for my bike.."no 180 series tires available".. , whoever i talked to i hung up on and i will never go there again except for clothes on sale and plastic cleaner...

I'm down in chandler on Riggs & Valvista. I just sold my BMX, already sold my DH,road,and allMt. bikes. But my mortgage just absorbed all the money I made. Yeah I pretty much do all my work myself. I've worked for a few shops in the past and people are just retarded, I trust nobody with my bikes... Unless I don't have the equipment to doitmyself.
I will be doing some tune up stuff this week, so I am totally down for a ride on tuesday,thursday,or sunday next week. Maybe get out of the heat for a while.

all right, i am obviously new to this forum... But i live in phx too and just got my hands on a superhawk.... i am having problems finding people to ride with. I mostly ride cruisers so do my friends...

Well, I am not off work every weekend... But if you guys are down lets get it going.
I will be in mexico saturday, but i would love to take a ride north early sunday morning... Any takers? FYI I open it up any time i can so dont go if you dont plan on keeping up.
Lynchie, dont really watch motogp. I try to spend my weekends in the saddle. I ride every day of the week, but in traffic. Gotta take the weekends to open er up
