Cool Hello from South Carolina!

Hello all! I'm Oliver, and I'm the proud owner of a gorgeous 1998 Honda Superhawk. After many hours of lurking, and browsing classifieds, I figured I'd join up! She's got 32k and is still going strong. Here she is:

Current Mods:
  • Custom Matte Silver Paint
  • Custom Gator Skin Seat
  • Sharkskinz Lower Fairing
  • Micron Carbon Fiber Exhaust
  • Kreiger Manual Cam Chain Tensioners

Future Mods:
  • Superbike Bars (Thinking VFR800 or LSL)
  • 905 Frame Sliders
  • High Mount Exhaust
  • Switching the paint to the 2005 factory titanium metallic (My favorite color)

Welcome from Pa! The Hawk is a great companion. Reliable and very satisfying, one of the rare few Japanese bikes that have soul. Enjoy every ride and gear up. I know how hot it gets down there (have a sister in Beaufort) so don't ignore the issues w/ the R/R.

Always riding in full gear, and sweating like a pig. She's a riot though, and for sunny days, my commuter. Like I said, it needs some more comfortable bars though!

Saw the post in the facebook page before this and had to double take this bike.

Slick and sleek. Have fun with that beauty and welcome to the forum.

Love the color. I'm doing the same thing, but a little darker grey with a matte clear.

You can't go wrong with the factory titanium metallic. I personally think it looks fantastic.

Working on it. Trying to track down some LSL bars for a decent price. My wrists kill me on long rides. That's the absolute next mod I'm going to do.

The paint on it is quite absurd as far as what I paid, but the matte really tones down the gorgeous curves on this bike in good sunlight. I want her shiny again.

PS: She's secretly RED!
