Hello everyone. I just picked up the new 05 SH on Saturday and have fallen head over heels. Ordered a set of Jardine highs last night and cannot wait to get them. Next bits to change will be the handlebars, brake lines, jet kit, ignition advance kit, and the list goes on....

I had been out of riding for a number of years and recently bought a Hawk 650 but there just wasn't enough juice so the search was on. Had my eyes on an ST4 here in Houston but the maintenance on a duc is a bit too much for 2005, and I don't care if she is Italian. Went to Honda of Houston and the Duc was a disatant memory (thanks Mike L and JR).

Looking to get into some long weekend rides as the summer progresses. Definately would be interested in some overnight camping runs around the hill country or east Tx.

welcome, I'm new here as well. You might want to consider some suspension upgrades as well, more bang for your buck than pipes from what I hear.

 

Suspension upgrades are on the list as well. Damn aftermarket is too easy now.

Forgot to mention that I have a pristine 2003 Mitsu Lancer Evo VIII in the stable and she is making around 325 hp at the wheels. But she gets neglected so she is for sale for 25k if anyone here knows someone who is looking. I can also take her back to stock and lower the price a bit.
