sounds nice. I have to say as much as I love my SH there is the downside to loving a bike and having so much time/effort into it. Wouldn't it be nice to have a bike you could just sell without regret and try a different great bike every 2 years or so? Maybe I'm just too invested in this thing.

I know what you mean. Most of those who trade often don't put as much of themselves into their bikes and therefore don't get as much out either. Then there are those who do nothing but modify to death until they get to a point where their done and can only see the imperfections and so then they sell it to some lucky soul. I don't get it myself. I sold an xr650l and an '88' 1000 hurricane to get my hawk with 5000miles on it. I haven't ever regretted this except for selling the xr, so when I trashed the hawk I took the insurance money and bought my wrecked hawk from the ins company for 1200. and another xr650l to ride while I restored the hawk. Now i will not part with either. The RC51 is awesome, but i never rode one to see how feels, but I've always been interested.
