Happy Veteran's Day

I would like to take a moment to thank all the men and women, active and separated, for their service in the line of fire for me and my family. We are the greatest nation on the planet because you allow us the freedoms to develope and achieve greatness. May your day be filled with happiness!

I would also like add a Thank You, to those like yourselves who support us. Your support is one of those underlying forces that gives us the drive to continue doing what we do.

Ditto. I owe the military not only gratitude for their fighting protection but also for their firefighting contribution during the southern California wildfires. I watched out my home's front window as 3 military helicopters did endless waterdrops from the lake just 6 miles east of my house on the approaching flames. God bless you guys!

I would like to say thanks also....to those before me...and those that have come after to defend a great country. Truely Freedom should not be taken for granted. And so many are away from their families...so we can sleep peaceful at night.

I talk to my old squadron mates every now and then....I even had the opportunity to train my cousin at my last duty station (HSL-40 Airwolves)....and he is on cruise right now to the pursian gulf doing his second cruise....flying in that SH 60 B Seahawk...

I kinda miss flying in that bird....I did 10 years in the Navy..and 1500 hours 2 cruises in that old Seahawk

Vets to ride today

Three of us US vets will be riding instead of working today. Ken, USN sub nuke mechanic, Clyde, USN chopper and aircraft engine man, Myself, USAF aircraft electrician, cross trained as crew chief, engines, environmental, and com-nav. We all lead civilian lives now, but will ride today for those who can't because they are busy with our country's security.
Hang tough guys, come home and go riding with us.

I cant add anything that was not already said. My thanks to you also. I have the duty to put one of the flags at half staff for the UW Wisconsin but today we do it for a fallen Wisconsin man who paid the price for us in afgan. I have mixed feeling about this from Pride to very sad Thank you again.

It is Remembrance Day up here in Canada and I too want to express our gratitude to the service men and women in the forces and the ultimate sacrifice they have made.

However, I do hope one day, all nations would disband their military forces altogether.

A BIG thank you to all those who have given of themselves to protect our nation. Another BIG thank you to all the families and loved ones who have watched as their Fathers, Mothers, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, and others served us.

Giving of your freedoms so we might live as a free country.... THANK YOU.

Thanks guys. For being Veteran's Day I feel that my 15 years of service should have got me one day off. Instead it was another crazy friggin' day at work! Oh well, somebody's gotta "make the doughnuts". Plus, I go on a week of leave tomorrow! Hoorah!
