Great price on rear tire ($99shpd)
Great price on rear tire ($99shpd)
So after installing my bridgestone bt023 this spring, and promplty getting a 16 penny nail thru it, I thought I'd look for another tire.
A riding friend said he loved his dunlop roadsmarts, so I ordered a rear 190 for $99 SHIPPED from motorcylce superstore.
Pretty shocking since the bt was $135 & that was a bargain.
Waited til it arrived at my door before I posted it here in case it was too good to be true.

Nice. I'm running Roadsmart IIs. I've got a bout 5,000 miles on them so far, and they are wearing quite even. I'm used to sport tires where I've got to change my tires nearly as often as I change my oil... The roadsmart IIs are holding up quite well, and grip exceptionally well for a dual compound sport touring tire.
One thing that had me perplexed; earlier in the season (cooler temps in April), at about 80mph, at high RPM, the clutch seemed to be slipping - I attributed this to wheel-spin as it hasn't done it since the temperatures heated up.
