got the hawk

I went to look at a superhawk yesterday and that was it. I am picking it up this afternon. It's an 03 with 160 miles. Got it for $5500.

was this the one you were talking about before?
if so good deal! 1st suggestion is setting up your suspension.
front fork is to soft. hey guys what do you suggest as far as springs and oil weight? i never bothered with mine,then i switched to an rc51 fork and am in the process of setting up my bike .any way what color ?the fast red of course right?

$5500 for a new rockin' sport bike! The SH has GOT to be just about the most fun per $ bike around!

Good for you !
I've had mine since April. Each and every day I ride this bike is a thrill. The "novelty" of the new bike thing is not even close to wearing out.
After work today, I took the long way home...booted around...practiced a few wheelies...took some nice sweeping corners. This bike is so much FUN.
I hope you get the kind of enjoyment I am getting out of mine.

Yup. I haven't been on a bike in 13 years so I was pretty nervous picking it up yesterday. The dealership is right on the highway, so I had no chioce but to get on. I am taking the motorcycle saftey course today thru this weekend. But so far I love the thing, but It needs some 2 bros. carbon high mounts. I need to learn the proper ediquet (sp) when riding in groups.
