Here is a unfinned one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...QQcmdZViewItem

For $60. It will eventually die again.

I am 90% sure that this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GUARA...QQcmdZViewItem

Will work even though it doesn't list the VTR superhawk as what it is for. I know when I got mine (aftermarket) the parts catalog had the same part for the CBR600's as my VTR 1000.

It is cheaper, and finned..

Here is one that came off a VTR 1000 and is finned:

And is even cheaper yet.

I'll have to look at the one on my bike because it looks different from what I remember, and it seems stange someone would buy a RR then resell it for no good reason and have the starting bid at $20...
Almost too good to be true. makes you wonder.

Perhaps it is, but it looks just like the one on my bike. I paid $75 for my aftermarket finned one locally.

I got mine from "Bob's Used Motorcycle Parts" here in Phoenix. And, no it wasn't a used part, they also sell new.
