mine is a 2000 mfirestorm and it just has the led light , it comes on when you are about 12/13 litres and when it gets down and desperate it flashes , then you know you havent got much km's and its pushing time

it would figure, my bike is one year loder and does not have the convienent flashing bar that most of you have. i have only the light which sometimes tells me get gas soon or your going to run out in 5,4,3,2,1....push...it has yet to be the same each time. yet for some reason almost everytime i fill her, she only takes 3.4 gals. i did notice that i got a little better fuel mileage when it was 65 in this area for the very short time of 2 days.
