yer opened the box, I've seen some odd performance and had a few exciting moments myself so I ain't gonna challenge yer. I haven't had my bird long enough to have had any stories, yet. I am very paranoid about the fuel since a friend of mine had a hawk and advised me to keep an eye on the fuel. Sucks having such a small tank. I'm kinda toying with a few ideas tho.
Don't go paranoid too much with fuel. If memory serves me right, from reading some of your other posts, you have an '02 or '03, which means, like me, you have the graduated fuel guage. Once it's starts to blink, I have managed to run another 40-45km's on the tank without any problems. Which means, I can do more, since the most I've managed at the pump is about 13L, leaving 2L left to burn.
