and bike is back home for cleanup. I took some close up photos so you could see what kind of clearance you have with the CBR929 clip-ons installed. They fit with no clearance issues except for the brake lever would hit the inner fairing at full left hand lock. It doesn't really bother me and the only time it would hit is in a parking lot turning around, but we went ahead and notched the inner fairing so there would be no issues. You have to be patient and get your lever position, brake line clearance and throttle cables properly adjusted.
The clip-ons do fit under the gull winged triples if you feel like taking the time to make them fit if anyone wants to update the KB. The extra hour it took to get everything aligned was well worth the $300 I saved by going other routes.
Thanks to those of you that took time to answer my questions.
Front end, wheel and brakes are all from a 2000 929, front fender is a track fender for a 1000R. Front M/C is from a 2003 600RR.

Yeah yeah I know, I need to get some thrash time in and get this set up and decide what I'm going to do with the rear, shock wise. I already have another stock VTR swinger and I can get a buddy to fab a brace and weld it on for a case of beer. That $150 would have cut into my new helmet fund. Looking at next weekend up at your local racetrack if you're up for some riding. I need to get a couple friends to come with me.

Awesome. I actually like the look of the silver USD forks. Killer. Let us know how you like it. Although if your anything like me, you'll realize that the front is so planted and good now, that you'll really notice the squirley rear. A good aftermarket shock and a swinger brace and things will be ace. If I could only do 3 mods to the bike, it would be the USD forks, the swinger brace, and the lightened flywheel. Those have given me the most performance that really enhanced my riding.
