Frame Sliders - info please

Can anyone tell me if the Lightning Performance Products frame sliders are the ones that stick waaaaay out.?

Yep, I think they double as a kickstand in a pinch Not workin if they aren't stoppin the bike before it hits the ground though!

I've seen pictures of the frame sliders that stick waaaay out bent in accidents. They don't do any good if they bend.

yes, they do stick out. do a search and you will find a very informative thread on the frame sliders and where to buy them. You can even look at the pictures of my bike that I have posted here.

the amount that any frame slider may help you in an accident is VERY dependant on the specifics of the crash. They can help, they can snap right off, they can be the only peice remaining untouched after the rest of the bike is totalled... it all depends on the crash.
