Frame damage

I went down a month ago, and have been slowly repairing the VTR. Today I was going to work on the fairing stay. I removed the instrument cluster to remove the fairing stay, and I noticed this damage to the frame. See attached imaged.

The front of the steering head has two protrusions (mounts) that allow the mounting of the fairing stay. The upper mount on the steering head is completley sheered off. Apparently I hit harder than I imagined, or may have been cracked in a prior down. Whatever the cause, now I have this issue and I need your help.

How bad off is my frame? Is it toast, or is it repairable? My feelings are that she might be able to still commute, but canyon riding is "OUT OF THE QUESTION" in her current condition.

Heck, I don't know. That's why I am seeking your knowledge...any will help.

Thank you.

inderocker is an unknown quantity at this point
i've seen alot of frames on ebay that have the same damage. so i'd have to say with the hawk it's pretty normal with a minor front end collision. did you bend the triple clamps? did you bend the forks? have you checked for cracks along the welds? as for the piece that broke, i'd just have it welded back on...

Forks and triples are straight, and the rest of the frame and welds look good from the outside. But I'll need to look a lot closer just to be sure...like the inside of the frame.

Kind of plowed the right side into uneven dirt ground, like a highside except I never left the bike.
