fairing crack

fairing crack

anyone got any advise on how to fix stop or cure my fairing cracking above the mirrors, dont really want to get a new one, i have thought about plastic weld but not 100% sure of its strength.

you might ba able to get a new one after buying material and repainting? they must just be stress cracks are the mirrors to tight?

mirrors seem ok i have changed the screen DB but both sides are starting to go can they be braced or something

IM sure they could be but you would have to look at the braces every time you ride the bike.have you looked on ebay or at motorcycle salvage yards?

I've had this happen before. Get the smallest drill bit you have prefer 1/16 and drill a hole about 2mm past the crack. This will give the crack an ending point so it can't go anywhere.
