Exhaust headers?

My SH came to me with a 2 into 1 after market header system and I can't figure out who sold this type of exhaust. Ebay only sells slip on's and OEM 2 into 2 headers?

Any help would be great!

Also if anyone knows of an after market exhaust that has the cans under the seat I would be interested on info for that as well.

Thanks in advance, SIRR1

2into1 - not standard - Most likely PO mod. Have you dynoed the bike to see how it has altered the performance of the bike?

You'll need to significantly modify subframe, bodywork & move electrics + rejig rear header pipe and link pipe yourself to fit a custom underseat exhaust.

The Honda varadero XL1000V (shares the VTR lump) has underseat exhaust. Various Ducatis, CBR1000s and Yamaha R1s also have underseat exhausts.

It's probably a homemade job... A picture might help... As far as the aftermarket goes (not custom made) Wolf made (that's made as in no longer) the closest thing to an underseat exhaust. Haven't seen one for sale in awhile used.

No company made 2 into 1, must be home made, the closest you had on the market had dual exhaust on the right side If I recall correctly.
I like the one with the R1 tail, forgot which member did that, I believe that there was a thread regarding

Both of those red bikes look awesome! Most of the underseat exhausts I've seen have intakes cut into the tail cowl to avoid the hotseat syndrome.
Is the Veradero frame similar to the VTRs? Has anyone tried grafting the Ver exhaust into a Superhawk? How about the fuel injection, but that's another thread?

Exhaust photos

I finally got the pig out of storage and believe it or not she fired right up!

I was pleasantly surprised since we had such a long and cold winter and the storage unit was not heated.

Anyway here are a few pictures of the 2 into 1 exhaust that came with my SH and I am pretty sure this is not a home made product, if it is they did a real good job...

I apologize for how filthy the bike is, like I mentioned it was just pulled from storage and trailered home to my shop.

Ive had a high pipe setup on a 919. All it does is make the bike more top heavy and the fumes go on your jacket. I would turn up places on my 919 smelling like a gutter. Changed it to low pipe.

"Under the seat" are all custom made. As I said previously Wolf is the only one who made a pair of slip ons that sorta exited "under the seat," and you'll have to get lucky finding them used somewhere. Not much choice with new high mounts either. A few may still be available new ($$$) like GPR's but otherwise your best option, and there are many different brands IF you can find one here or on fleabay, is a used pair.
