email from Jason Higgins

Anyone else receive an email from Jason Higgins with a pdf attachment? Here is the body of the message:

Thank you for your purchase of the Honda Super Hawk VTR1000 parts.

I know it has been a while since you bought a part from me. I value your business and would hope you would consider me in your next purchase of motorcycle parts. I have attached a link to all of the Honda Super Hawk VTR1000 parts I have left.

I can't remember ever buying anything from him, not saying I didn't. Wondering if it contains a virus!

I haven't touched the attached pdf yet. I think I have to save it to scan. For the life of me I can't find the option to scan it as it sits!

jasonhiggins73@gmail.com

I keep Norton up to date, can't imagine this is viral... all incoming gets scanned.

This one has me really curious though. I've never received something so personalized.

I use Symantec and I have it set to scan all incoming email attachments, to include compressed files. If it is of a file type the software can not scan I get a warning.

Open your Norton program and go to the "help" tab, using search option, try email attachments or scan email and see what suggestions it comes up with

My Norton does the same.
So I saved it, scanned it(no threat found)and hawkster is correct. The pdf is a screen shot of cascadeclear's ebay items for sale. Went back through my feedback and found that I did buy from them over a year ago. Just wish I could remember what it was.

Thanks everyone. Mystery solved.
