VTR vs Ducati vs TL Video.
Nice european test of the Honda VTR, Duc 916 and Suzuki
TLR...probably 1999 to 2001 year model bikes.
Not Safe for Work due to some language (very mininal, but some swearing).
VERY LONG 25 minutes. Not for band width challenged. There is even some commentary on riding accessories if you pay attention.
Also has a test of the R1 vs. 996 Wheelie competition, Hillcrest competition, Corner speed competition, Over the blind crest, stand up one legged wheelie competition Driving on wrong side of the road competition.
Yes, there was an actual moto test....

I bet you the VTR in the video is tricked out. I have an 03 VTR1000F with about 2500 miles on it, the bike is all stock and I weight about 220 lbs. In first gear with an empty tank and without shifting my weight, I have no problem doing power wheelies BUT I can't keep it up there long because the front end comes up at about 5000 rpm, unless I know how to shift into 2nd while in the air.....
2nd gear power wheelie (again it's all stock and I weight about 220lbs) requires a little bit more skill. I've only done it a few times (an empty tank, shifted my weight and a little bounce on the bike).
3rd gear wheelies........to me it's almost impossible.......maybe I need a jet kit or something....

The good ol' VTR was dragging around every turn... That's crazy. It sounded like the pipes were dragging. I think the guy woulda gone down way earlier if the stock footpegs were poking down.
Heh, that guy said the VTR did the best wheelies, making up for the lack of power up top. I'm down with that.
