I am moving to Italy this winter for 4-5 years.
Do I bring the Hawk or sell it in the states and by a bike in Italy? It will be free for me to ship if I keep it.
What would you do?

Sell it in the states. Then buy in Italy. While there, find all the 21L Firestorm gas tanks you can and sell them to the SHF members for a great price.

I would imagine all the titling and registration issues would be easier were you to sell/purchase a motorcycle from within the same country.

 

Actually the now-discontinued Euro models had 19L tanks whereas ours got 16L tanks. I do like your thinking though about becoming a tank exporter
