That's what I get for posting about a healthy bike, after my CCT swap yesterday. I had some starting issues a few weeks back, but have been keeping my bike on the battery tender. Well, this weekend I didn't while working on it, so I managed to get stuck today.. battery dead (brand new Yuasa battery, 1 month old) and power slowly draining.. checked the volt meter, sure enough revs take the voltage way down. So I'm guessing a bad rectifier.. I picked an 06-07 R6 rectifier up today, anyone have any problems swapping to that exact model? SH678-11 I believe is the part number...
