So what kind of oil are you using when you cruise at that RPM?

Between 4k and 5k
It's a sportbike so I feel like I should ride it like one.

For commuting purposes I can ussually lug it at about 3,500, 70 -75 mph. That way I can get 44 mpg.

Actually it's better to not use any oil, especially as the rpms rise...more drag on the moving parts=less power.

Run with just enough gas to get where you're going.. no oil.. and yellow paint... I can practically pick the bike up with one arm..

Yeah, you're right I'm at about 3500 in the 55 mph zone and 4000 at the 65 mph zone. Two tanks in a row I've gotten 44 mpg though. I was afraid my RLOD was D for a bit.

mechanics tip: always lube before insertion with some type of oil

stock, 6th, 4k rpm, 70mph, or just a little more for 80mph. D & D's seem pretty quiet in that range while wearing ear plugs. I consistently average 42-45mpg.

He rubs the engine with Cheetah blood before every ride. It makes it go faster.

the other day I was testing my clutch with roll-ons in 6th on the highway. 5,000rpm=90mph (indicated) I got to 6000 doing almost 120. I got to work fast. but anyway I guess I'm the obnoxious guy cause I don't usually let it go below 4000rpm. I just never cared how loud I was. I knew I wasn't loud enough to get pulled over and that's all that mattered. I cruise around 5-6000rpm. at 6 she's kinda gving me that "**** or get off the pot" impresson. but I don't like how the motor feels when its lugging around below 4. in 2nd and 1st I'll let it but not in 3rd or higher.
