I am ordering a set for my upcoming motor build and Carrillo told me I need to order a set of 4 to have them made. Lead time is 16-18 weeks and the cost is $950 per set. manufactured on demand. Pic is for reference

 

Isn't the crank the weak link?

 

Only if you go seeking high hp numbers

 

Rods are significantly lighter?

 

Yes and much stronger

 

I've been running them for years now... No issues (though I did have a crank fail about 5 years ago, this while the engine had about 150,000 miles on it)
