can you reuse crankcase gasket?

Hey guys can you reuse the crankcase gasket? Planing on painting the cover. Couldn't tell if they are or not. Don't want to risk it and have to order new ones and take up the whole week just for a gasket.

Thanks.

I don't think you'd want to try to reuse a torn paper gasket besides a right crankcase cover gasket is less than $20:

Tweety's right it's the stator, but Ron Ayers calls it an alternator cover:

inderocker is an unknown quantity at this point
It's not something I'm proud of... but I have sealed an entire motor with Hondabond HT, using the old gaskets for clearance. I've never had a leak develop. Of course, on my own bike, It's always gonna get a fresh gasket.
